After School Art Adventures at the Carriage Barn!

In this 4-week session (Thursdays 4-5pm starting 9/4), we will experience the magic of Artist Dale Chihuly’s bold colors, raw energy and swirling organic forms. Dale Chihuly is a renowned American glass artist known for his vibrant, intricate glass sculptures that often resemble organic forms found in nature. With Mrs. McKay’s guidance, children will be able to delve into this creative process by using materials like colored cellophane, paper, and plastic to mimic the glass’s translucency and vibrant colors. They’ll learn to sketch their ideas, select colors, and assemble their creations into a collaborative art piece, mirroring the teamwork Chihuly champions. Lean more here!
