Korean Language Classes in Town!

 

The 2026 New Canaan Korean School Spring Semester starts on 2/1. Our Children’s classes are currently full, but we are excited to offer Teen and Adult classes. Families who are interested in learning Korean language and culture are welcome to join us. Class Information • Dates: February 1–May 31, 2026 (13 weeks) • Time: Sundays, 1:00–3:00 p.m. (Optional Korean culture activities until 3:50 p.m.) • Location: New Canaan Country School, 635 Frogtown Rd, New Canaan, CT 06840

New Canaan Charter Review Commission Seeks Public Input

 

The New Canaan Charter Review Commission invites residents to share their perspectives on the Town Charter. A public input form is now available HERE, allowing community members to suggest revisions and improvements to the charter's provisions. The Commission, established by the Town Council to review and recommend charter updates, welcomes input on all aspects of municipal governance. After School Art Adventures (for children K-5)

Thursdays Jan 29, Feb 5, 12 & 26 4-5pm (No Class President’s Week)

 

Come join this popular after school art program led by local teacher “Ms Tiffany” McKay. In this 4-week session, we are diving into the world of modernized 3D art inspired by artists such as Ben Giles and Wojtek Babski. In the modern world of selfies, join us to create your own 3D ‘self collage’. The recycled items that we will use will be carefully and independently chosen by each child and creatively put together to create one piece of art…a selfie to save for life!

$185 for family level members per 4-week session / $210 for non members

The NCHS Senior Internship Program is a valuable opportunity that connects academic learning with real-world experience. We are reaching out to our NCHS families and community members to assist us in connecting with potential host sites, including your own. We’re particularly looking to increase opportunities in areas of strong interest, including computer science, finance, healthcare sciences, and law.
